Four wheel drive research

“The trip began at 8:15 am at The University of Adelaide. As creatives, Philomena and I were excited to meet the scientists! We buzzed around the scene, filming and photographing the students, field staff and scientists as they loaded instruments onto the utes. Including Goran’s favourite seat.

It would be three hours before our first stop for lamingtons at Burra, enough to share stories of previous field adventures and our collective love of travel and world cultures.

Did I mention lamingtons? The lamingtons at Waters Burra Bakery are heavenly. Keep that up your sleeve. Not the lamington.

Around 5 pm, the Sun sunk behind desert hills as we rolled into Broken Hill though it felt like only a few hours had passed. What a treat it was to travel through an evolving shrub-covered landscape in one day with an curious group of scientists.”
