‘I really like volcanoes, natural disasters and tectonics. I've always been fascinated with that since I was a kid. And in high school, I'm like, well, where am I gonna go in like the next 10 years from? Well, I really liked volcanoes. So maybe I can make a career out of that.

And then I did like little bit of research and like, oh, that's that's an actual thing. Like volcanology is a thing. Then I talked to a volcanology professor, and he said, Do geophysics, do geochemistry go from there.’
